Not only is Garden at the Cellar one of my favorite restaurants, it's also home to my favorite burger. This is my go-to burger, the one I think about when I am craving a burger. The one I always go back to. The one I order more often than not.
The Cellar burger is a tender, juicy burger (made with locally raised beef) paired with fresh arugula, cheddar and a home made aïoli. I love the full flavored taste of the beef, and the peppery greens and aïoli compliment it so well. The burger is cooked to order, assembled with care, and not only is the burger wonderful, but it comes with the rosemary truffle fries. Hot, crispy fries that taste amazing. I usually pair my burger with a Dogfish Head 60 min IPA or a PBR. Quite a perfect combination.
And, even though this burger is my #1 choice on the menu, I love everything else at Garden at the Cellar as well. The appetizers, entrees, brunch, bloody mary's and beer selection are outstanding. The grilled cheese/tomato soup combination is my second favorite menu item, a great choice when I am not in a burger mood. The quality of this restaurant should be celebrated and it is my favorite place for many reasons.
Tip: at dinner service, burgers at Garden at the cellar are served at the bar and in the cellar only.

It looks like a good burger. Thanks for the tip that it's only in the bar and cellar. Good to know!
