Hot Dogs, Baseball and Beer

Last night I was lucky enough to get Sox tickets. And since nothing goes better with baseball, I had hot dogs and beer on my mind! Dinner was at one of my favorite places, The Lower Depths.

This bar is a no frills, cash only, beer only place with good food. Especially good hot dogs and tater tots. Doesn't get better than that!!







I started with a Brooklyn Pilsner. Tasty!






His (Chicago) and Hers (Boston Strangler) dogs with a small side of tots. The Chicago dog is my second favorite (to the one I ordered) on the menu.

Yeah, that's mac n cheese on my dog alright. Ain't nothing wrong with that.

Lower Depths is, in my opinion, the best place to grab a bite to eat before a Sox game!

My coworker gave me the tickets, and as you can see these are great seats. It was a great game, with (Cy Young candidate??) Buchholz on the mound and Pedroias first night back. Both were given standing ovations.













Now, Fenway isn't known for having the most comfortable seats in MLB. Fortunately, the nice view came with comfortable seats. And cupholders. Oh my!! I could get used to this....






The beer guy stopped in our section and we hung out for a few. I'm not much of a Bud Light fan, but anything was better than leaving my comfortable seat!






Kalish Grand Slam in the the 4th!! Very exciting.

Sox win!!!!

On a hot August night, is there anything better than dogs, beers, and baseball?? I don't think so!!
