Cambridge Brewing Company

One of my recent lunch stops was at the Cambridge Brewing Company. There's nothing better than a cold beer and a delicious meal after a long run. After this run (11 miles) I was so famished, I couldn't wait to get to lunch but I wanted to try a new restaurant - and CBC was where we picked.

It was pretty empty for noon on a Saturday - but it is located in the heart of the Kendall Square technology and biotech area, so maybe it's a busy weekday lunch spot. We sat at the bar of course - I prefer sitting at the bar 99% of the time - and ordered right away. I had the hefeweizen, which is one of my favorite beers (along with IPAs). This one was great! I love places that brew their own beer, especially local places.

For lunch we split and appetizer and I had a sandwich. J had the fish tacos, and he really seemed to like them. I don't know if I had low expectations of the food or what, but I really enjoyed my meal. I can't remember the last time I had pulled pork, and I'm not really sure why I ordered it in the first place, but it was fantastic! I need to have bbq more often. Overall, the food and beer were great at CBC and I'm looking forward to another visit!
