While moving is a terrible and annoying task, the idea of moving into a new place that I can decorate thrills me! Here are some ideas that I have for my new place.

Bedroom
Hemnes dresser from Ikea. I love this dresser and already own it in the 3-drawer style. The current dresser I have will be moved into our front hallway for storage. Since I will have less closet space (the shame!) I need a larger dresser. I love the shape of this, and it's wide enough to fit my jewelry box and a few photo frames, without looking cluttered.


Laelia Bedding from Anthropologie.
It's gorgeous, and fits both my and J's styles. And we really need a new bed quilt.

I think this would be adorable in the bedroom, with a black frame.


Kitchen

I like the "geography" theme since my SIL has recently given me a dishtowel like this, that we had hanging in our old kitchen.


And these coasters from Ward Maps that are customized for us (we have one for each of our hometowns, the town where we went to college, places we've vacationed together, etc). It was such a thoughtful gift, and one of the best I have ever received! I definitely recommend these!
Plus we have paintings and posters that we've collected from various trips, and I want to display them all!

But I also really love this good wine poster by how fab.
And I wonder, how much shit can I really hang on my walls? Nevermind that I have a gigantic (4 foot) framed poster of my favorite painting that needs to go somewhere.

And all of these ideas are based on my first few looks at the place. I'm sure once we move in and figure out where to put all of our furniture, all of the things we already have framed that need to be hung, etc, I will have some new ideas....but this is what I am dreaming about now.
