Veggie Planet

In an effort to branch out of the Central Square bubble, my coworkers and I took a trip to Veggie Planet in Harvard Square for lunch.

Veggie Planet is a Harvard Square restaurant "specializing in creative, out-of-this-world, meat-free and dairy-free pizzas." What you do is pick a base - pizza dough, brown rice or coconut rice, and top it with many of their creative entrees.

I chose the very popular "Henry's Lunch" which Henry’s Lunch consisted of roasted butternut squash, caramelized onions, rosemary & sage, goat cheese and asiago cheese. It was very fresh and a great blend of flavors.

My coworker had the mac n cheese, which was only OK. It's really tough to make 'healthy' mac n cheese, in my opinion!

Veggie Planet is definitely a vegetarian restaurant to check it. It gets very crowded at lunch, so get there early!
